I realize this is an old post but hopefully you can benefit. I am the secretary/editor for the 452nd Bomb Group Association. The 452nd Bg were stationed at Deopham Green Airfield, Norfolk, England. They flew B-17s. There were 4 squadrons: 728, 729, 730, and 731. Your dad had to be stationed at a base. I have a large archive and do research. We still have over 600 members.
I was born in Gt. Ellingham, my farm home only 50 yards from the 728th revetment. I have lived in Iowa for over 40 years. Tel: 1-800-452-9099
