Surnames: Wilson, Unwin, Rolland, Schoolcraft
Hello Everyone
I am trying to find my ancestors in England. My ggrandfather James William Wilson immigrated from Tilbury England in 1843-45 with his mother Ann. I know very little about the ancestors of this family but would very much like to find them so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I know so far of this family...I know that James' father was a George Wilson b: 1801 Essex England as per the 1841 census of Essex Eng., his mother was Ann Unwin b:1806 Essex Eng. as per 1841 census. This is as far as I can get. I have tried finding them by name patterns of James' children and his siblings and that hasn't worked. I would very much like to know who the parents of George Wilson b: 1801 were and who the parents of Ann Unwin Wilson were. Since the records for these people are in England and I am in Canada I need some assistance. The names of George and Ann's children are John b: 1830, Susan b: 1832, Sarah Jane b: 16 Sept. 1834, George b: 1836, Jane Elizabeth b: 15 Sept. 1838, and James William b: 10 May 1841 all births as far as I know were in Essex. John, Sarah Jane, George, Jane Elizabeth and James William all immigrated to Canada. I did not know about Susan until I found the family on the 1841 England census. According to family lore George Sr. was a soldier in the french and indian wars in Canada, this has not been proven as yet. George Sr. died in Canada in 1842 so the last record of this family in England that i know of is the 1841 census.

James William Wilson married (1) Adelaide Rolland (2)Emma Louise Schoolcraft, there were three children by the first wife, James, Caroline Orcelia, and John Emmet. The children by the second wife were Harriet L., Anna, Leon, John, Elizabeth, Carrie, Thomas, Sarah Jane(Sadie), Glenna, and Georgeanna my grandmother. Any help in finding the parents of George and Ann will be greatly appreciated.
