Hello, Elias Armstrong was my gr,gr,grandfather and Henry Armstrong (Anna Armstrong's brother) was my gr.grandfather.I have a photo of Henry standing outside the public house he was licensee of "The Bonnie Pit Lad" with his wife and four children. I can forward more information to you and I would be very pleased if you could let me have a copy of your gr grandmothers birth certificate, her parents marriage record and the picture of her at 16 yr.

On the 1871 Census they lived at NORTH HETTON STABLES,HOUGHTON LE SPRING and had three children
Joseph 3yrs, Mary Jane, born 29 September 1869-age 1yr and Ada - 3months.
Joseph and Anne were married at the Holy Trinity Church, South Hetton on 9 June 1867. He was 23 years old and she 26 year. He was born at Dalton le Dale. His father was Joseph and her father was Elias Armstrong.
