Hello "ancestor", I have just read your request about the above. Your great grandmother was the sister of my great grandfather, Henry who was born 1838 and died 1900. I have a photograph of Henry and four of his children outside a pub he had a Easington Lane Coo. Durham, called The Bonnie Pit Lad. If you would like a copy of this I will be only too pleased to send it to you. Also I prepared a family list of members starting with Elias Armstrong and sent it to Ontario, Canada to Joan Nicholson. Joan's mother is the great grandaughter of Elizabeth (Ann and Henry's sister).
I notice that you have her (Ann) birth certificate, her parent's marriage record and a picture of her at 16. I would truly, truly appreciate a copy of these. I am so wrapped up in my family history. I know that Anna and Joseph had 5 children and only 2 survived scarlet fever. Joseph Mason (senior) was born at Dalton le Dale, Nr. Seaham Harbour and Ann was born at South Hetton. On the 1871 Census they lived at NORTH HETTON STABLES, HOUGHTON LE SPRING, CO. DURHAM and they had 3 children: Joseph 3yrs, Mary J 1yr, and Ada 3 months - they were all born at Colliery Row, which is about 1.5 miles from HOUGHTON le Spring.
