there is a firm Fred Williamsons decorators of Monkwearmouth an old established firm although now it is not owned by the Williamson family ,it is a large well known business,an ancestor of mine married Freds daughter she died in childbirth as I was not interested in Williamsons I never took it any further ,as it is a while since you posted message are you any further on ?
