Thank you for looking that up, sorry you couldn't find anything. In July 1972 Andy wrote in his last letter that his brother Alex and sisters Elizabeth and Bella all lived in South Shields. He stayed with them for 4 or 5 weeks and then went to visit a brother in Slough near London and another sister in Hertsfordshire, his sister Ann in Primrose who he didn't even remember because she had married and left home by the time Andy was a couple of years old. The Australian Social Services sent his pension to South Shields while he was there visiting. He also received a Miners Superannuation Fund allowance. I wonder if these records are available to direct family to find where they were last sent to and when they stopped.
