I am hoping to find someone with access to the Winston Parish Records in the early 1800s. I am looking for the baptism of Elizabeth Smith b 1801 Newsham,Durham.The Parish Registers for the period 1572-1976 are deposited at Durham County Record Office, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL (EP/Wi).
The baptism index only covers after 1813 so I don't believe the record would be obtrainable thru the LDS site.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
