I have been trying to find the house where a distant relative was working in 1901.

It is Haswell House (owned by Thomas FURNESS).

In census order ..
Holly Park
Rose Vale
Lilac House
Haswell House
Orchard Cottage
then Folder Street

It was in St Aidan's parish

I have a modern map which shows a Haswell Avenue and Faulders Walk so presume it was in that general area but I know from my own family how much Hartlepool has changed.

I have some Alan Godfrey maps but they are all North of that area so of no help.

I wonder if anyone has a map that shows the location.
