Oh that was quick!!!
James Brown was a labourer, I think he ended up in Bournemouth, as he found work there when they were building alot of the area up.
I think he was born in aboutish 1887, he has written down on his marriage certificate that his father was a army pensioner but he was dead by the time he married Annie in 1913.
What I'm hoping to do is find his birthday date out then may I can go and find his military record for WW1, as my grandma, whose father this is, doesn't know. She seems to remember he had a different accent, which unfortunatley doesn't help much.
Annie's (b.1896-1976) family seem to have taken over Garfield Avenue by 1920, they are only small terraced houses which if I remember are near Kings Park.
