Oh My Gosh !!!!!! I have never given up on this... and have hoped to someday figure out my grandfather side. Oh My Gosh- that's all I can say.... !!! There is a great tribute to Ernest Owen on the internet- just search his name in the search bar.. You will see.. Raquel, his wife mourned since and in 2008 she too passed on. Ernest was my "mentor"- he told me to keep on searching.. I still have his letters. I am also with the DAR here in Florida.
