Is anyone able to help me please. My Great Grandfather George Finch was born about 1847 in Spreyton or South Tawton, Devon. I have a marriage certificate for him 1869 and his fathers name is also George Finch. I would like to find him on the 1851 census to find his family members but cannot. With the details I have I was unable to get a birth certificate or find a record of baptism so am stuck now and cannot go back a generation. Please help.
