Most AVENT families in the United Stated trace their descent from immigrant Col. Thomas Avent, (c1671-1757) who immigrated to the Virginia Colony in 1701.

We are eager to connect our colonial AVENT branch to that family which was documented in Devonshire from the medieval period.
