I have found Michael's baptism in the parsih register, parents details simply say William and Elizabeth Benson. I have not been able to find out anything about William and Elizabeth and would welcome any help and/or advice on where I might follow up any info on them.

Michael subsequently married Sarah Allcard (b 1804 Middleton Stoney) at Manchester Cathedral in 1835 and they lived the remainder of their lives in Manchester.
