I think Elizabeth Hastings was the earlier marriage.

There were at least two more children born to Thomas Litster and Margaret Ellwood in Cumberland - Robert Ellwood Litster and Martha Jane Litster in 1886. The family seems to have emigrated to Australia about 1886. We have been trying to get in touch with Australian relatives, but so far without success. The surname was spelt Lister in some sources.
