Some more information about Robert C Stagg

He was born in 1845 in Carlisie, England and yes, Joseph Fisher was his neighbor.

As some point, George Stagg moved to Inverness, Scotland to run a leather tannery there. He was there in 1861 for the Scottish census along with his 15 year old son, Robert C Stagg.

At some point Robert C Stagg met Catherine Isabelle Fraser and they got married around 1875. Their first son was born in 1876 (William Fraser Stagg) and their eldest daughter Elizabeth Stagg was born in 1878.

They continued to live in Inverness until Robert's father passed away in 1885. Then they immigrated to Milton, Ontario. I have no doubt that Robert C Stagg intended to join the Fisher family in the Milton, Ontario area.

I also have no doubt that the Stagg family followed the Fisher family out west to the Millarville area
