I am trying to work out who my great great grandmother was. All I have to go on is her marriage certificate - she married in July 1863, aged 21, in St Patrick's Catholic Church in Adelaide, South Australia. Her husband was Leopold Conrad, a German immigrant butcher. Her father was Thomas Smith. She was born in Cornwall.

Other than that, all I know is that she named her marital home 'Helstonleigh'.

Obviously I am lacking shipping information and all members of her family, other than her father. Her place of birth is a mystery.
