sorry i have nothing on him at all. am trying to find out if the william hawkins in the third fleet is mine!! the link to the third fleet site was attached to william hawkins born 1740 in cornwall,submitted as one of those pedigree resource whatsits. it must have been added for a reason!! william 1740 married in cornwall and had twelve children there. if the convict william is the same man then he was about fifty. cannot for the life of me figure out how to find out if it is him!!!!!! if you have any ideas i would be hugely grateful. many thanks and all the best. jane
