The family are together in 1911 in Bagnall, Sarah YARWOOD is 37 (born Smallthorne), John YARWOOD is 40. They say they have been married 15 years, but that is a fib. It was 15 years since she married William BARTLAM.

There are trees online for the family, including a photo of Mary Eliza Yarwood BARTLAM. I still can't find Violet's birth, which does suggest she was illegitimate and a child of neither William BARTLAM nor John Simpson YARWOOD. I wonder if the descendants of any of Sarah's other children know anything?
