My Dad was a Capt in Patton's 3rd Army and has an original letter from C.W.Baker written to the US Army stationed at Lichfield in 1944. It is so well written and touching that I would love to get it back into the hands of the family. If anyone has a connection to the family I'd love to send you the original. In the meantime I'll include a scanned copy for your reference.
