Thanks for the response Ell. My gg grandfather was a millwrights boy in Chorley area in 1834. I'm trying to establish who the Millwright was that he was working for.
My ancestor was James Jupp and I think Joseph Hughes and John King were also working in Chroley in a mill or as millwrights boys.
These 3 young men were convicted for a robbery of a George Peover and were tired in Knutsford Quarter Sessions on 13th October 1834. I do have the Chester Records office copy of the sentence but had hoped there may have been more info on the trial hence the post regarding the Knutsford Newspaper.
I'm also looking for info on George Peover of who I feel may have lived in Chorley, Cheshire as well.
