Only one of the entries in the IGI has a reference that shows it was extracted from the locally held records - ie the church registers. That is the one that gives Prestbury as the place of marriage & the Batch number M012382.
The IGI records of the birth of Thomas Lawton in about 1847 and a marriage to Hannah Kinsey in 1772 are all submitted entries by members of the LDS - they do not show they are extracted from original records.
The birth of Thomas Lawton "about 1847 of Chelsford" suggests that he might have been living in Chelsford at the time of one of his marriages, but that doesn't mean he was born there. Also, the year of 1847 is the usual estimate that is made by the LDS of ages of bride (21) & groom (25), working from the year of a marriage. He could have been any age.
