Hi - I wonder if anybody might be able to shed some light onto what's going on here....

I'm starting to look more in depth at more recent family history (having hit something of a brick wall going back beyond the 1700s). I'm currently looking at my grandfathers cousin, and I can't quite work out what's going on here!

This is a marriage in 1950 between John Gerald Prest and Audrey Stewart (in Cambridge)

Then, in 1964 this appears on the website, as a marriage between John Callaghan and Audrey Stewart (i've double checked on Ancestry and it also shows up on that site) also in Cambridge;

CALLAGHAN John
STEWART Audrey M
PREST Audrey M


If Audrey and John Prest were divorced and this is Audrey's second marriage (to John Callaghan), might this explain why she appears to be listed as both Prest and Stewart in the Cambridge marriage records??

Any help in explaining possible scenarios would be much appreciated!
