GRACE -- Barrie in Toronto on July 26, 1999, age 69 years. Born in Cambridge, England, he was educated at Kings College, Hastings, England. Served in the Imperial Army 1947-1953 with the Green Howards and saw action in Malaya. Settled in Toronto in 1956. He was with the Militia Royal Regiment of Canada from 1956-1962. He was employed by Taylor Instruments for 25 years. Served the last few years of his life with the Corps of Commissionaires in Toronto. A memorial service was held in Toronto. His ashes are interred beside his mother, Muriel Idell Grace (nee MONTGOMERY), in the family plot at Fraser Cemetery, New Westminister, BC.
