Have done extensive research on the descendants of James Wilkins married to 1st (or maybe 2nd) to Sophia Pearce: Children: Caroline, Henry & Charles. She died 1862. James then "teams up" with Hannah Portlock who served as housekeeper and eventually marries her after having 12 children between them: Mary Ann (Porlock), Elizabeth (Portlock), William, James, Thomas, Agnes, Martha, Esther, Emily, Rosa, Lily, Daisy.

Am very happy to share all I have. Am troubled that after extensive searching so many of these children just "disappear".

James and Hannah are in Surrey by the 1881 Census. Hannah is still alive in 1911 with youngest daughter Daisy.
