I looked on the IGI site and there is listings there for a Thomas Luff who was christened in Cranley, Surrey on 29 March 1772. The parents are listed as John and Mary Luff. There is also an entry for a marriage for a Thomas Luff born 1776 who married a girl called Mary (no surname) in 1801 or 1800 one entry says marriage was in Engham?, Surrey. The other just says Surrey, one also mentions that Thomas had died before 1876.

I also looked to see if this John and Mary Luff had any other children christened at the same church, and they are as follows
