Looking for info: John J. Mallard b. 1873 in Newfoundland, married Mary Elizabeh English b. 1873 or 72 in Newfoundland, all parents born in Canada. I believe that at least 2 Mallard brothers came over from Ireland to Newfoundland in early 1800's, they may be of the family that lived in the historical home Mallard Cottage in St John's, NF. They lived in St. john's, and Quidi Vidi section specifically for many Mallards and many years. Many English's were also there.
John emigrated 1895 to Boston, a brother Patrick followed later, and a William also who may be a brother or cousin, emigrated probably about 10 years earlier.
