My grandfather, Wm Farrant and his brother George Farrant were sent from London to "Teighmore" on the Jersey Isle. as 5 and 7 yr.olds, circa 1889. In 1892 they were sent back to London, there they were outfitted for the journey via Liverpool and consquently emigrated to Canada as part of the Barnardo immigration of children scheme. Is that home still operating as a "Home"? would like to obtain any records available .. could anyone tell me anything about it? thanks so much for any feed back .. Patrica Of Washington state USA
