I was wondering if your relative was related to an Elizabeth Brouard from the Channel Islands, Guernsey and left with her husband John Baillieul to Canada an settled in Port Hawsbury.
around the late 1830's.

I pick up from your message the name BAILLEUL (BAILLIEUL), and am wondering whether you have any details of this family.

My 4-g grandmother was Elizabeth BAILLEUL, who married in 1790 to Jean QUERIPEL and had 11 children. She was born in 1772 and died 1826 (or 1836), but I have nothing on her parents.

My mother-in-law's great grandparent's were James Robert and Maria Brouard. How are you related to this family?

Hi! An aquaintance by the family of Blanchette has the same couple as his great great grand parents as their daughter Mary Ann married Louis Blanchette on June 2, 1857 in Douglastown on the Gaspé Coast. Did you ever find if Mary Ann was born on the Coast or in Guernsey?
Thanks
John
