Dear Di,
I'm not sure if we have a conncection, but it so happens that my Susannah Medder, from Devon, married Henry Tamblington also from Devon married in Stoke Damerel in 1837. Their first son was William Tamblington was born in St. Heliers in 1838. Then they had their other children in St. Peter's Port, except for one daughter, Anna , who was born in Devon in abt 1849. In 1850, Henry was born. On the 1851 Census, they are living in St. Helier's again. I am trying to find Susannah Medder's parents and siblings, and also the same for Henry Tamblington. Have you found any information that indicates a possible connection between our ancestors? Please email me at
