HUTCHINGS Brothers and ROBB sisters

I am looking for information/genealogy about two brothers:
1) John Howard HUTCHINGS born 27 October 1892 in the Falkland Islands who married Margaret Mary ROBB.
2) His brother Frederick Robert HUTCHINGS, born 18th March 1897 in Winkfield, Berkshire. He married Margaret's sister, Hannah ROBB.
Clearly the family must have left the Islands between 1892 and 1897. I have found no other rcords of the Hutchings family so any information would be gratefully received.

Their father, Joseph HUTCHINGS came to the Falkland Islands in 1874 to work for Holmstead and Blake. He married here in 1885. I have found no record of a departure date for the family.

Hi June, Thank you for taking the trouble to contact me. Not long after I first posted I had a call out of the blue from someone I had never heard of. Somehow he knew a great deal about my Aunts and sent me photographs that neither my sister nor I had ever seen before. Are you related in anyway to my ancestors. I see that your surname is Edmonds and I have a number of Edmonds in my tree.
Best wishes for the New Year.

Hi, I am glad that you got the information you wanted. I bet it was John Baker who got in touch. He is a close relative of these brothers. I am researching on behalf of my husband who is related through Eliza Edmonds, a half sister of Maria Belcher, nee Edmonds. Eliza is Peter's great grandmother.I know quite a bit about this branch of the family if it were of interest to you, though it may be a bit remote. Most of the photos though come from John Baker. One of William and Ann Edmonds' children went to Australia and another to Canada in the 1800s, we came to Canada in the 1900s. I have lost track of two of the siblings, they may have gone to South Africa. Nice to hear from you. Best wishes, June

Hi June, You are absolutely correct, it was John Baker. I have Maria Edmonds who married Robert Belcher but I do not seem to have anyone around that time who had a second spouse / half sister. I have a number of really distant relations in my tree and I would certainly be pleased to hear about your research. Off line my address is johnrobb@eircom.net

Hello,
I was interested to read this information regarding my Great Grandfather. My Grandfather John was the last of this family to be born in the Falklands. I have been searching for such information for a while. What evidence do you have for the date of 1874 ?. I note that John also asked if you have any other info regarding the departure dates, do you have such information.
I would appreciate any information that you could supply.

Hello John,
It's many a year since we last met, in fact I think at my Grandmother Margaret Robb's funeral in the mid 80s. I would be willing to share what ever infomation I have, albeit I think like you the information relating to thier time in the Falklands is a bit limited.
