Thank you for the reply; this seems to be the week of the Kiken's! I posted this message on another thread in answer to dhilborn1's message on the Kiken family reunion:
Thank you for the reply. My father completed the Y-46 marker test here at Ancestry.com. When I put Dad's values in at Y-search, the name of Kiken came back as an exact match for 12 markers; so, I posted here. Since that time, I have put his markers in at Sorenson.org, and we have done additional autosomal testing. I can now conclude that we are very distant relatives--@ 40 generations ago in Russia/Ukraine.

Additionally: My father's ancestor's settled in Hudson County, New Jersey after emigration to the USA; so, at first, I believed our connection to your Kiken line was closer than it turned out to be.
