Russian Prison Camps - WW1

Is there any history or commentary that names Russian prison camps in Eastern Europe during WW1?

My grandfather was a POW in what I was told was a Russian Prison camp and I have some pictures of him there and the camp. This would have been in the area we now call Czechoslovakia.

I have a name for the camp but I suspect that it is a vernacular description and thus not much use.
