My grandfather emigrated to Canada from Brjansk Russia in approximately 1918. He came with his mother, sisters and step-siblings. My great-grandmothers name was Katharina Heidebrecht. I have a newspaper article with my great-grandmothers picture from her naturalization ceremony in Vancouver, BC.
