I am looking for any information on the family of Alex & Rose (Posheneck) Rosen.
They came to New York from England (originally Russia) around 1893. Their children were
Sophie, Max (my grandfather), Harry, Morris, (all born in New York) Joseph, Ben (born in Ohio)
and Sam born in Indiana. Harry married Fanny Sokolsky ended up in California. Sophie married
Phil Friedman ended up in California. Max married Ida Bloom (Blum)ended up in Florida. Morris marreied Bessie
Zelikovsky stayed in Illinois. Joe married Irene Hibnick had homes in Florida & Illinois. Ben married Gertrude Goldbaum
stayed in Illinois. Sam married Clara Pauker stayed in Illinois.

I'm a grandson of Joseph and Irene Rosen. My parents are James Metcoff and Elaine Biel. I have some census information and personal communications about this branch of the family. I'm living in Baton Rouge, LA, but I visited Waldheim Cemetery, where many of the Rosens, including Allex and Rose are buried. I'll be happy to share information with you.

I've been working on my family tree for about 10 years now.
I've managed to locate relatives in Germany and Ireland.
Some of the names associated with my family on my Father's side are Kaib, Fuchs, Pail, and Wehner. On my Mother's side...LaVelle, Templeton and, Cragie.

On my wife's side...Dudra, Malovec, Spurrier, Flaherty and Tierney.

Hi I also have Malovec in my family tree. Andrej Malovec (b. 1898)married a Marie Brindza(b.1897). They were both born in Lysa Pod Makytou, Puchov, Czech. I can not seem to find any information or anyone with the same tree. He came over here (Canada)abt: 1925/26 and didn't send for the family for 12 years. They both died in Alberta. Any leads would be absolutely wonderful.

I have very little information on the Malovec member of my tree. She is my wife's Grandmother. My Father in Law know very little about his heritage. I'll try to gather more information and share it with you.
