Manaslu Trekking Permit is little bit time consuming and hassling in compare with other trekking and is little bit expensive too in compare with Langtang, Annapurna and Everest. There are two different criteria of permit cost as from September to November it cost US $ 70 for first week and extra US $ 10 per day per person where as from December to August it cost US $ 50 for first week and extra US $ 7 per day per person. Not only that trekkers need to obtain two different conservation area entry permit one Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) Entry Permit and another Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Entry Permit which cost each US $ 20 regardless of season and number of days.
In order to get the permit you must adjoin with local travel companies otherwise you cannot issue the permits. It is also hard for local travel companies as they need to posses each and every documents like tax clearance, bank paper, dollar transaction authority paper, So you can adjoin you one of the local travel companies, just remember freelance guides cannot issue the permit of restricted region trekking.
