Your email posting in Rootsweb dated 10/13/99 was interesting to read because my Ishida surname and my ancestors are from the Yamaguchi prefecture too. My grandfather arrived in Hawaii from Yamaguchi. His name was Kyujiro Ishida born 10/29/1884. My great grandfather's name was Daikichi Ishida. I'm curious to know if we are related and whether you would be so kind to share your resources on tracing the Ishida roots.
