Hatsu Kakurai, Son Looking for Relatives from Mito

Hello. My name is Dean Summers. I was born on 12 Aug, 1959 at Johnson Airbase (Iruma Airbase) Japan. My mother was Hatsu Kakurai born on 9 Feb, 1929. She married my father Ray Summers on 11 Aug, 1958. My mother was from Mito. She had two brothers. I think one of her brothers was named Kichiro? My mother's father was something like the Postmaster from Mito. She told me stories that she used to deliver mail on her bicycle. I understand he was an important man in Mito, highly respected and honorable. I am hoping to make contact with any of my relatives from there. I wish to complete the lineage of my mother's genealogy and to better understand my history and blood lines. There is an empty hole on my side of the Japanese history I have. I wished I had more time to talk with my mother but I was in the USAF when she passed away on 17 Feb 1995. I didn't get many chances to talk with her. My sister has lost any mail that my mother may have had and along with it, any chance I may have had to write her relatives.
My mother endured much for her two children. She stayed married to our father for the sake of her children. I was raised by my mama-san for three years until my father received orders for the US Army to move to Washington state in 1962. My mother was a wonderful and loving woman. She loved us dearly and missed her family in Japan dearly. She often cried when the topic turned to her family in Japan and how much my grandfather missed me and so much wanted to see me before he passed away. My grandmother and grandfather passed away in 1971, 1972 I think if I remember right.
If anyone can help me in this matter, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you so much for your time and efforts.

Need Help finding information on Sato family

How do you find out information from Japan on a family?

I know that my husband's grandfather is Arthur Sato.

His father's name is something like Masao or Masozo Sato born about 1865 and lived in NY. We were told by many family members that Masao(?) was from a royal or noble family but that's all they knew.
He came over here in the 1890's but have not found the record yet. He did own a large piece of land in NY when he settled here, but lost it somehow to the state.
A friend that is from China said that the first name can actually give you the town of origin and then the house, but I would like to find out everything I can: his ancestors, his correct spelling, if there is a crest, any siblings, etc. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

1910 census http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=1910USCenIndex...

1920 Census http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=1920usfedcen&a......
Masuzo Hagita

I am looking for any information about the family ancestors and history of Masuzo and Ichi Hagita in Tokyo or Chiba. Their children are Hagima, Minoru, Mariko, Tokie, and a half-brother Kurando. I'm a friend of Tokie (Hagita) Spitz. She married Jim Spitz an American Army soldier after WWII. I have some information that Masuzo Hagita was an engineer and may have been an inventor of a pump. I know the family left Tokyo and moved to Chiba during or after WWII, and that they have a family burial plot there, but I'm not sure of the exact location. Please contact me with any information you may have regarding this family, and how I may contact any living relatives. I live in California in the United States, and my email is: it3fittro@yahoo.com. Thank you. Gary
