My grandmothers name is Kei Ogawa, she passed away on Sept.11,2003. Her fathers name was Kisaburo Ogawa, and her mothers name was Sai Ogawa. My mother was in contact with her nephew in the 70,s. I would like to get in contact with family members or just to hear about my heritage. We were in contact with my grandmothers oldest sisters son. His name is Kazuto Kaneko. His address is: 4-13-7 Sakura, Utsunomiya_Shi,Tochigiken, Japan. Please contact me if you know anything. We are all eagerly waiting for a reply.

Kay Champion
HAZEL GREEN, WI—Kay Champion (Kei Ogawa) , 76 of 1610 13th St., Hazel Green, passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Hazel Green, with Pastor Dennis Govier officiating. Burial will be in the Hazel Green Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Haudenshield Funeral Home, Cuba City.
She was born on July 8, 1927, in Utsunomiya, Japan, daughter of Kisaburo and Sai Ogawa.
She married Robert Champion on Jan. 8, 1952, in Tokyo, Japan. Together, they owned and operated the Wigwam Bar & Restaurant in Hazel Green, until their retirement in 1993.
She was a member of Temperly-Duncan 526 Women Auxiliary, Hazel Green.
She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and the company of friends and family. She loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a kind and caring person who will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her husband, Robert “Bob” Champion , of Hazel Green; a daughter, Bobbi (Keith) Richardson, of Hazel Green; a son, John “Jack” (Cathy) Champion of Hazel Green; her grandsons, Mike Olson, Eric Olson, Josh Champion and Joel Champion; and a great-grandson, Jonathon Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother.
In lieu of flowers, a Kay Champion Memorial Fund has been established.
