I am just starting my family research on my grandmother's side of the family, who immigrated from Surabaya, Indonesia, to Holland, and then to the United States. My grandmother's maiden name was Gunthardt. She married a Brantsma. And I recently found records that her mother's name was Semi Karto, which became Semi Gunthardt when she was married. I would love to learn more about my omu and her family. So if anyone has any information, that would be greatly appreciated!
