Following the demise of the British Empire Museum in Bristol, we have had a lot of the material that we donated to the Museum returned.

Masses and masses of it, it will take ages to go through it all but there are a lot of photographs that will eventually be on the FIBIS site.

In the meantime, I'm happy to share them when we can find people who may be interested in them. So, the first one is a photograph taken at the IETD Station at Bushire in 1930, a year before the Company was sold to Cable and Wireless.

The photo has the following people identified as: J (Joe) Faithful,Bernard Wyse, V P Sequera, Masqueranous, Jass brown, Kelley, Jordan, Birch, Edwards (Jenny's family), Gomes, C H Peazold, Terence Tobin, Lovell, Metcalf (Asst Superintendent), Dr Durning, W Pitcher, Mackertich, the younger (Armenian), J M Lobo, R C Vass, M R Lobo, Albert Samson.

Some of these folks are also identified in other photos (including the IETD Bushire football team of 1929), same thing applies, if they're in your research family names, happy to share them.

Regards

Tony Fuller
