Seeking information on EDWARD & MARY HOGAN who lived in India c. 1878 where their daughter Ethel Mary was born as well as several of her siblings. Am wondering if Edward was in the Military or Civil service.
A son of Edward & Mary was Msgnr Otto Hogan who ministered in the catholic diocese there & died in 1976.
Ethel Mary Hogan married James McKay Mackenzie born in Iverness in Scotland. Other names in the family of Edward & Mary are: Constance, Claude b.1882, Herbert b.1886, Stanley b.1881. I know that Claude served in the Military in 1902.
Places mentioned in relation to this family are, Pishawar, Nainitil, Dinapore all west bengal. I also know that Ethel & Constance attended a Catholic boarding school I think called St Marys. Any information on this family appreciated. Thank you
