Hi All Researchers,

I am currently researching the descendants of the China Inland Mission. I am PARTICULARLY interested in the descendants of Marie Emma Barchet (Marie Emma Barchet was born on the 28th November 1869 at Ningbo, Zhejiang, in China, the child of Stephan Paul Barchet, medical missionary at Ningbo, and Mary Elizabeth Bausum).

Marie Emma married John Trevor Smith (changed to Trevor-Smith according to shipping records) on the 23 Jun 1897 at Shanghai, China. John was associated with the British and Foreign Bible Society. Marie was associated with the American Baptist Missionary Union between 1894 and 1897 but resigned for health reasons. She continued residing in Shanghai, china.

I know that there were two children (thus far) - Dorothy Trevor-Smith (married Alexis Damsgaard of Denmark) and Frances Mary Trevor-Smith (who married Francis Leslie Ball - a photographer and worked for Burns Philp Co in Hong Kong).

I am looking for any information and descendants who may be able to help me!!!
