Hi, i recently decided to look up my family history and i don't have a clue about where to start! i want to trace back my family in Bangladesh, i can only go as far as my grandfarther, who as far as i know (and i'm not 100% certain) was from Madobon(?)any advice/suggestions on how i would go about this would be greatly appreciated.

basically try and find out atleast what village he is from. also what was his name if it is related to any family titles in that area. Normally villages will have names such as syed bari, talukdar bari, chowdhury bari, sikder bari.
