I am searching for information on Ishooki (Tahaoki) Vartanian, who immigrated to Highland Park, Michigan in 1919 (from Turkey)to live with her son George O. Martin. Why George and his mother had different surnames is beyond me. Perhaps George Americanized his name when he came to America in 1910. I also know that Ishooki was a widow.
