If you have not already located the Les Archives Paroissiales de Tunisa it is the only Tunisa web site that has a limited amount of surnames that I have found http://debono.club.fr/mariagestunisie/intro.html It is in French, but it's easy to understand what you need to do.

There is also
http://www.genealogie-gamt.org/index2.asp which is also in French. You can translate the web site through http://babelfish.altavista.com/ just insert the url, select French to English. They require a membership to view their files.

I haven't found any thing for Libya.

Hope this helps.

You do not need to register to use this translation service.

http://www.altavista.com/ is the home page for the web site. On this page you will see a link to Babel Fish Translation
http://babelfish.altavista.com/ On the new page there is a box that you can type in - or paste in - the information that you want translated. Under the box click on the down arrow to select the "from" language and the "to" language. (example - French to English) And then click on "Translate."

Under the big box is "Translate a Web Page" with a smaller line block that already has "http://" typed in. If you will copy and paste - or type in - the web sites URL into this box (delete the "http://" if you paste the URL) then select the language and click on "Translate."
