How intresting! I am the granddaughter of James Howarth. I know my dad, Anthony Howarth is desperately trying to fine relatives.

James married Eva Mary Kennedy, and they had two children, Anthony James (Tony) and Colin Michael. Tony married Barbar Phesant and had four children Alison Ann, Rowan James, Jill Catherine and Elizabeth Mary. Colin married Jillian Truscott and had two children, Michelle (?) and Katherine Mary. There is still another generation of grandchildren.
I might be wrong, but I dont think Walter and Ethel lived at 6 Cliff road. I think it was James who first lived there. Tony is currently still living there.

Hi
A break through at last we are related Walters father James was my great uncle his brother Joseph was my great grandfather.I have transcripts of the death notices for Walter and Ethel and 6 Cliff Rd is shown as place of residence although they both died in nursing homes.Perhaps they lived with James. The transcripts were e mailed from Kwazulu-Natal Archives Pietermaritzburg Archives Repository.Has your father any idea why Walters ashes were sent back to one of the family graves at Rivington? Also you may be surprised to hear you have some famous ancestors and relatives, all the English and Scottish monarchs and many French Kings as a relative, many as grandparents.Unfortunately the family tree is on Genes Reunited I have a basic public tree on here under paulehowarth. I think contact would be easier by e mail that way I could send some photos of Rivington and the family farm. paulehowarth@hotmail.com.Hope to hear from you soon
Regards Paul
