A break through at last we are related Walters father James was my great uncle his brother Joseph was my great grandfather.I have transcripts of the death notices for Walter and Ethel and 6 Cliff Rd is shown as place of residence although they both died in nursing homes.Perhaps they lived with James.The transcripts were e mailed from Kwazulu-Natal Archives Pietermaritzburg Archives Repository.Has your father any idea why Walters ashes were sent back to one of the family graves at Rivington? Also you may be surprised to hear you have some famous ancestors and relatives, all the English and Scottish monarchs and many French Kings as a relative, many as grandparents.Unfortunately the family tree is on Genes Reunited I have a basic public tree on here under paulehowarth.
