I am looking for information on my great Garndfather's youngest brother, James Kitchin Johnson. He was born 1867 in Pictou County Nova Scotia, Canada, to Duncan Johnson and Abigail Sutherland. He, like several of his brothers, were sea captains. The odd middle name stems from the fact that he was named for a ship builder in River John, James Kitchin. The last known residence that the family had for him was in Cape Town, South Africa, in the late 1890's. He was rumoured to be sailing for Austrailia but it is unclear if in fact he ever did. Any information or suggestions would be helpful.
