Is there a William KIDSON on your list? He was born around 1785 in England. He had a daughter Anna Maria KIDSON born 13 April 1831 in Craddock, Cape Colony, South Africa. She eventually married Dr. John LOWRIE/LAWRIE, also of English descent.

Searching for Marriage Certificate of Maria W. Lasar and Jabez Thorley who were married in Cape town. They left South Africa in 1857 for Melbourne Australia on "The Magda" with 4 of their 5 children. (Married about 1850).

I am researching the GLASS family descendants who originated with Thomas GLASS an 1820 Settler and would appreciate any help in this regard. I have a quite substantial database already but am a long way from completion. Any help with any of the other surnames mentioned would also be appreciated even though they do not form my primary focus.

Collecting all HANGER and WEBBER Settlers in South Africa. Edward HANGER entered in HOWARD's Party on the "Ocean" with wife Harriet Sophia and daughter Caroline [6]. On October 4th. 1827 he married Eliza WEBBER, born UK in 1809. When did she arrive? Who were Mary WEBBER, George WEBBER, Samuel WEBBER and Martha WEBBER? Were they related to William and Elizabeth WEBBER, on Nautilus in Scott's Party.
Is there a death record for William WEBBER and could Elizabeth be Eliza [though age wrong]
