Thanks Craig for your help. I have acquired the documents from the archives and traced the family back to Tettenhall. Richard was born in 1857, he is on the 1881 census and then there is no further record of him. I know he went to RSA and married Annie Louise Robertson. He must have left UK between 1881-1888/9 as his first son was born in 1890. Thanks at any rate once again for responding to my request, greatly appreciated.
